Indonesian Fintech Unicorn, Xendit Enters Malaysia And Announces Investment Into Payex
Fintech company, Xendit has officially entered the Malaysian market offering up its diverse range of hyperlocal payment solutions to businesses in the country from SMEs and start-ups to giant corporations alike.
The Malaysian market entry follows the announcement in 2021 of investment in Xendit by Penjana Kapital through the Dana Penjana Nasional programme.

Incite Foodtech Acquires One Of Malaysia’s Emerging Unicorns, Eatcosys
Incite Foodtech Sdn Bhd, a fast-growing food tech venture, has agreed to acquire Eatcosys Sdn Bhd, a homegrown retail technology solutions provider that was recently recognised by KPMG and HSBC as one of the “emerging Malaysian unicorns.”
The move witnesses both parties combining expertise and capabilities and diversifying their offerings to create a unified retail ecosystem that benefits both the B2B and B2C segments. This development also will be a fitting response to the latest government demand for industry players to develop more innovative products and market development strategies by leveraging the digital economy to revolutionise the retail industry.

MYStartup collaborates with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) to launch a hackathon (MYStartup Hackathon 2022) targeted at solving DNB’s key corporate challenges.
