Head's Up: News, Events and Disruptr Of The Week
Welcome back to an all-new Head’s Up. It’s been a pretty eventful couple of weeks for the startup and business ecosystem. Last week, NEXEA’s Entrepreneurs Summit returned with its third edition, attracting over 200 founders and visitors from the ecosystem.
While the craze of building the next unicorn is still very much in the air, founders are still very much focused on keeping their companies going for the next couple of months as most still expect the funding winter to loom on.
ESG despite it being one of the most talked about topics in the ecosystem has yet to truly find its footing among startup founders who believe in other priorities for the time being. Survival being the top of the list currently.
In the same week, MDEC closed its Malaysia Digital Week and launched the Malaysia Digital Climate Action Pledge (MDCAP) a corporate pledge that aims to build capacity and increase adoption of sustainability and climate action.
There are plenty more updates from the ecosystem from new cohorts of startups to the latest funding news, so be sure to read on till the end. Till our next issue, stay safe and stay healthy!
